Springfield Racing runs the #5 car in the Swedish V8TC championship since 2024. 

The crew has long been an established racingteam in Swedish and international racing since 2010, until 2024 under Memphis Racing label. The team is the only Swedish team to have won national championships in 2 countries (Sweden & Denmark), junior championship, nordic championship and wins in the Nascar Euro Series .

About the V8TC series

The Car

"It's a real racing car with fantastic road handling" is the most common comment from those who test drive a V8 Thunder Cars car for the first time. It's not surprising. The tubular frame chassis is built by Howe Racing in the USA, which has built 3,750 racing cars since its inception in 1971, primarily for the American racing market.

The Engine 

The engine is a 6.2-liter V8 that delivers 510 hp in original condition (but is throttled to 475 hp for even better durability) and is built by GM's racing department in the USA.
